Autumn Pengelly

Autumn started sewing and quilting in 2003. She has two boys named Stone and River; they are her nature babies. When her two boys were very little, she made them tons of quilts and playmats. She loved to embroider their names and birthdates on everything! This was just the beginning of a lifelong passion for sewing, quilting and embroidery. Autumn has been an active board member in two quilt guilds; the Rheinland Pfalz Quilt Guild in Germany and the Suffolk Quilt Guild in Virginia. She has donated many quilts to premature babies in the NICU. She has also donated many quilts to the Wounded Warriors. As a veteran herself and a former military spouse these charity programs are very dear to her heart. She has donated many hours to both worthy charity programs. As her sewing skills improved, she began teaching other women and children to sew and quilt. She has a gift for teaching and enjoys helping others learn new skills. She loves to share her vast knowledge and love of sewing with her students. She has worked for two local quilt shops; Tidewater Sew Vac in Virginia for 4 years and Thomas Sewing Center in Texas for 1 year. She has also worked for other national companies including the Daylight Company and Accuquilt. Her original quilts have been featured in many quilt exhibitions across the country. She is also a proficient garment and home d├ęcor seamstress. She can sew almost anything! She is proud to be representing RNK Embellish. She loves the wide variety of creative options the Embellish line offers. Embellish offers everything from machine embroidery, to digital cutting, to shiny rhinestones, the creative possibilities are truly endless! She loves to teach, travel and inspire creativity everywhere she goes!
