The Lace Hexi Banner Collection is a "MIXED MEDIA" project perfect for complimenting any room décor. The CD includes directions with photos for creating the swag banner, 17 free-standing digitized lace hexagons, and the original SVG artwork to re-purpose for different projects.
Each hexagon measures 2" x 1.75 and has been digitized for two different thread weights: 40 weight and 60 weight. They are so simple to make. Just use your favorite thread and embroider on Embellish® Rinse-Away Mesh stabilizer. Don't forget to wind a bobbin with 60 weight Embellish® Flawless thread in a color matching the top thread for a cohesive look.
When the embroidery is complete trim the excess stabilizer and soak in plain water to reveals the beautiful detail of each hexagon.
This beautiful collection is perfect for use with our new Embellish® Metallic threads. We used all ten colors of the metallic thread in images shown so you can see how a little metallic sparkle adds some magic to this banner.
